I CAN SEE! it's beautiful!

yesterday i had lasik corrective eye surgury and today i can see. at my follow up appointment today i was seeing at 20/15 with both eyes open. that's better than 20/20! of course, they said while i'm healing i'll still have bad days mixed in with better ones and not to get concerned or frustrated about it.

mom watched the procedure and said it was the most amazing thing she's ever seen. i think it had something to do with cutting and peeling back my cornea. (she also mentioned having to take a quick bathroom break during it too.) but it took less than 15 minutes and i was done. intense burning hit me as the numbing drops wore off, but after a few hours sleep i was happy as can be!
