trouble at home
well, my dear friend emily arrive last night, late, from new zealand. the trouble is, i have to move out. and soon too. i live in a painfully small room and sleep on a painfully uncomfortable sofabed. well, and i suppose even that isn't the trouble. the trouble is that em is wanting to move out with me. which i think is fantastic! it'd be great for us to stay together. however, midge and harvey are feeling a little decieved. they thought em was staying here long term and apparently they've sent others away saying they were full.
the thing is, they don't know what a darling emily really is and that she, not for one second, set out to decieve them. em was pretty shaken up about it. i can see it from the blatt's perspective too, though, don't get me wrong. but i think so many people move in and out of here, they'll have no trouble filling the room.
we're going tomorrow to look at another private home who's owner rents out rooms. her name is bat sheva. and her home is much closer to the unversity. right now we are over an hour's busride. this neighborhood could be a 5 minute bus ride or a 20 minute walk or a 15 minute bike. plus, i think the rentals are more separate from the private home. here, for example, i walk out of my room right into the living room. anyways, hopefully it will work out. we're praying for a blessing. and the more i've been here, at the blatt's, the more i think the sooner i move out the better. it's just not a good situation anymore. and i don't like living with trouble at home.
please, pray with us for a home. and just for peace in my soul, at least. i am still battling with a spirit of fear. i don't like it.
school starts next week and i am gettin excited to learn and have a bit more structure in my life. it will be intense, however, of this i am sure. but, hey! i can do intense!
blessings.
