back to school

yesterday was my first day of school. again. the last time i was a student it was the fall of '05 and i was taking one class in wheeling to finish my degree from ccu. here, though, i have a very different sense about my education. i am certainly not here for a degree. it just isn't important to have letters after my name. i don't care. i want to learn. i want to grow. i want to see this land, the world, the Word in a new way, a wonderful way, a living way. a way that means i can never be the same, never be satisfied (apart from in His grace), always striving for more: more peace, more of Him, more depth, more...

monday: 2:30-4pm intro to biblical hebrew
4-6:30pm history of ancient israel
tuesday: 6-8pm land, nature and society of biblical times
wednesday: 2:30-4pm intro to biblical hebrew
thursday: 2:45-5:15pm backgrounds of early christianity

my kinda schedule. lots of reading and memorizing. pray for discipline. and for a eagerness to learn: "ha'ga", remember my Land trotting friends? how a lion ha'ga's its prey? yeah, like that.
