can't "touch" this
so, now i can come back to america! on the last day of sports camp, during the final game of touch rugby (which is bigger here than flag football is in the states!) that i played in, i finally scored my first try (touchdown) of my life! and later in the game i scored my dream try off an interception run back about 5 yards for the score! it was brilliant. i am a legend (that's what they say like, 'you're amazing!') so, now i'm thinking it would be fun to join a touch league and play pretty regularly... obviously i've got the skill. after 2 days and 4 games i think i finally got the hang of it. rugby is really complicated when you've grown up always running and throwing forward... just like everything else here that is backwards!
sports camp ended about 3 days ago and i can finally walk normally now. maybe i'll try to keep myself running so i can play without being bed ridden for days following.
and the biggest news of my life right now: my parents are planning a trip to NZ in march!! so i'll get to show them around during my last 2 weeks here! i'm so excited. last week i got a letter from my mom and i taped it to my shirt and told everyone i saw that i got a letter, "hey! have you seen? i got a letter from my mom in america!!"
